Shortly before 1630hrs, on the afternoon of June 6, 2007, Rescue 3 came across a fire at Clinton Ave and East 175. The Bronx CO acknowleded and said that they were just putting out Bronx Box 2945 for the fire. Fire was out one window of a 3-story occupied brownstone. The all-hands was transmitted on arrival with a request for an extra engine and truck. The fire was quickly knocked down and the fire brought under control.
We arrived at this fire within 5 minutes of Rescue 3 transmitting the 10-75. We were right next to the firehouse of the first due companies, Engine 46 and Ladder 27. We got stuck at a light at the Cross Bronx Express which held us up. We are not sure where they came from but Engine 88 beat 46 into the box and stretched the first line.
