Shortly after the Box was dispatched for Trenton, crews in the 5th Battalion were sent on a Box Alarm to the 500 Block of East Philadelphia for a dwelling fire. Companies stretched on another vacant dwelling going throughout and extending into the exposure.
When we took up from Trenton, we heard them dispatch a 5th engine to East Philadelphia and took it in. We arrived about 10 minutes later and saw heavy fire from the original fire building.
