Just as the sun was coming up, on the morning of January 20th, 2020, Providence firefighters responded to Geneva Street for a house fire. On arrival, Engine 15 had heavy smoke and fire showing from an occupied house. A second alarm was transmitted and crews were forced to protect nearby exposures. All of the occupants made it out on their own. I arrived 80 minutes into the fire and the fire had, for the most part, been knocked down.
