On the evening of May 22, 2020 the Providence Fire Department dispatched a still box to 367 Douglas Avenue for a building fire. On arrival, Engine 12 reported heavy smoke showing from a 1 story commercial building. As they were stretching in, the roof collapsed but no one was injured. Upon hearing this, Battalion 3 ordered a defensive operation and multiple lines were operated through doorways. The fire was knocked down within 20 minutes. The cause is under investigation.
