On the morning of August 18th, 2021, the Providence Fire Department sent out companies to Barnett Street for a possible house fire. Engine 3 was in the area and reported smoke showing from the area of Barnett. On arrival, Engine 3 reported fire showing from an occupied 2.5-story house. The fire appeared to start on the first floor and extended upwards. Two alarms were struck and one person was transported to the hospital.
